Applications are now open for the Auschwitz Jewish Center Foundation’s 2026 Summer Government Advocacy Fellowship. Students selected for this highly competitive program will be introduced to the mechanics of the state and municipal government, politics, grassroots activism and advocacy. The program is based in New York City and open to all college and graduate-level students.
AJCF Government Advocacy Fellows Will:
- Step directly into the arena of real policymaking through coveted internship placements with local and state legislators and high-impact government agencies, where participants contribute to meaningful, real-time work.
- Take part in an intensive weekly seminar series featuring elected officials, top lobbyists, coalition architects, civil rights advocates, and leading voices from the Jewish community,crafted to give participants the strategic toolkit of a modern advocate.
- Benefit from exclusive, one-on-one mentorship with senior decision-makers shaping today’s most pressing policy debates. Fellows gain insider access, career guidance, and the kind of professional network that accelerates leadership.
- Receive a $1,500 completion stipend, recognizing the commitment, excellence, and impact demonstrated throughout the fellowship.
