ANTIDISCRIMINATION
EDUCATION ACADEMY

A Program for Polish Teachers

This 6-week hybrid program includes tours of the Oshpitzin Jewish Museum and former camps at Auschwitz, as well as immersive training in inclusive educational methods. Together, through the lens of the Holocaust, teachers connect through discussions, projects, and introspection.

We help develop knowledge and tools to prevent hate by empowering educators to ensure everyone is seen and heard. We use the VICE model (Visibility, Inclusion, Collaboration, Empowerment). We dedicate one week to each of these elements, with powerful activities to proper implement these ideas and skills.

More than just imparting ideas, this model focuses on taking action and fostering transformative change. Together, we learn to see everyone’s unique essence, challenge stereotypes, and celebrate differences. This leads to cultivating empowered people to create inclusive communities.

This project is made possible with the support of a grant from the Active Citizens – National Fund, financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the framework of the EEA Funds.

I believe that change begins with school, giving the youngest generation a sense of security, sensitivity, and acceptance to those who are different from us.
