Share This Post

Since the onset of the war on Ukraine, AJCF has been working to provide aid, mostly to women and children, who were forced to escape their homeland seeking refuge in neighboring Poland:

Assisting refugees to help them gain access to Poland at the both the Ukrainian and Slovak border;

Setting up a Ukrainian help-desk for the newly arrived refugees in Oświęcim;

Polish language courses (beginner to fluent levels): Since the onset of the war, we have been providing Polish language classes at all levels to facilitate entry into Polish school system and job market;

Employment support: Job Seekers require linguistic/interpretation services;

Summer and winter camps for children with trips in the region to release parents from their family duties and provide opportunities for cultural immersion (video)

Integration workshops for Ukrainian and Polish children to facilitate intercultural dialogue among children and parents;

Special event for the Ukrainian Independence Day

Psychological Support/Ukrainian therapists: We assist by offering psychological support to these victims of aggression and war;

Employment of two Ukrainian refugees who oversee the Ukrainian relief activities in Oświęcim;

We also provide housing to Ukrainians at our campus and in Oświęcim;

In addition, our friends in the U.S. have created this amazing music video: Love, Lately in order to raise funds for the AJCF’s Ukrainian relief work:
