Tomek Kuncewicz – Director
Leads the team at the Jewish Museum in Oświęcim, serves as director of the Auschwitz Jewish Center Foundation in Poland, conducts workshops & lectures. Ornithologist, gardener and naturalist by passion.
An English philologist (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań) and Judaic scholar (Brandeis University, USA), and anti-discrimination trainer (Academy of Anti-Discrimination Training). Recipient of the Irena Sendler Award, the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising Medal for preserving Polish-Jewish heritage and opposing all forms of hatred.
Maciek Zabierowski – Head of Education Department
Develops and conducts educational programs for adults: U.S. Army cadets, police officers, and teachers. Interested in technological innovations in and out of education.
Educated as a historian (Jagiellonian University) and a graduate of the Anti-Discrimination Training Academy, former representative of the International School of Holocaust Studies at the Yad Vashem Institute in Poland, and former collaborator of the AGH University of Science and Technology e-Learning Center in Kraków.
Dr. Artur Szyndler – Curator
Manages the collection of the Jewish Museum in Oświęcim, conducts archival and historical research, and museum workshops. Co-leads cultural projects. Prefers spending his free time at concerts.
A doctor of religious studies (Jagiellonian University), author of academic articles (including Yad Vashem Studies) and publications for the Jewish Museum (including Oszpicin. The History of Jewish Oświęcim).
Aleksandra Kuncewicz – Administration and Finance
Oversees financial and personnel matters. Loves dogs and other animals.
Graduate of the Marketing and Management Faculty at the University of Economics in Poznań.
Karolina Turza – Educator
Develops and conducts programs and workshops for youth and adults, including the Anti-Discrimination Education Academy. Co-leads cultural projects. Enjoys all kinds of mountains.
A Polish philologist (University of Bielsko-Biała), graduate of the Anti-Discrimination Education Academy and the Applied Drama School of the STOP-KLATKA Drama Practitioners Association, former collaborator of the Warsaw Center for Educational and Social Innovation and Training.
